Glad you wandered in.
An idea has been circling your mind for a while now. It tugs at your attention, at work, as you fall asleep. Maybe you’ve written out pieces and parts, but writing is difficult and comes with a definitive learning curve.
As many things do, writing exists in multitudes. Like an artist dusts a canvas with charcoal or splatters walls with paint, writers express meaning through the written word in diverse forms. Poetry, songwriting, personal essays, short fiction, fan fiction, screenwriting, novels, etc. It’s all art in the shape of storytelling.
Most of us have stories to tell, our own or otherwise, perhaps some more than others. If the allure is there, I ask that you join me on a writing journey. The Inkwell is intended to be a tonic of creative encouragement, a space where writers at any level can dip their quills and dive into storytelling. It’s a reserve of sorts, an archive. The more I learn, the more knowledge I’ll pour into it. I just hope along the way we can compare notes.
